Where to write
Email is the only channel — there is no phone line and no live chat, because a small editorial operation is better at answering email carefully than at answering a phone quickly.
Editorial and corrections
Spotted a factual error, an out-of-date specification or a link that has moved? This is the address. Corrections are made in the article and noted, not deleted silently.
[email protected]General enquiries
Anything that is not a correction — press questions, partnership enquiries, or a note about the site itself.
[email protected]Corrections are the priority
Of everything that arrives in the inbox, corrections get answered first. If you tell us a figure is wrong, that a product has been discontinued, or that a link no longer resolves, we will check it and amend the article — and the article will carry the updated date.
When you report a correction, three details make it much faster to act on:
- The article title or the address of the page.
- The specific sentence or figure you believe is wrong.
- Where the correct information can be verified — a manufacturer page, a standards document, a model number.
We do not amend an article on assertion alone. If a claim is disputed without a source, we will say so, which occasionally is not what the sender wanted to hear.
What we can help with
- Corrections to fact, specification or link targets.
- Questions about how an article was researched or sourced.
- Permission questions about the images used on the site.
- Editorial-policy questions — sourcing standards, review cadence, independence.
What we cannot help with
- Product support. We are not the manufacturer or the retailer. Warranty claims, returns, repairs and order problems have to go to whoever sold you the item.
- Personal purchase recommendations by email. We are happy to point at the article that covers your question, but we cannot individually spec a machine for you.
- Paid placement, sponsored posts or guest link insertion. There is no price at which these are available on this site, and enquiries of this kind are not answered. See the editorial policy.
- Free product samples in exchange for coverage. We do not accept them. If we did, the disclosure rules that make the rest of the site trustworthy would stop meaning anything.
Response times
Corrections about a factual error are usually looked at within a few days. Everything else is handled in batches, so a general enquiry may take longer. If you have not heard back and your message was time-sensitive, send it again rather than assuming it was ignored — the inbox is read by a person, not a ticketing system, and things occasionally slip.
